Forty-three adult learners and trainers from the seven partner countries of SEAM took part on its second transnational training course in Slovenia.

The event that took place between the 30/03/2016 to the 05/04/2016 in Topolšica (Slovenia), joined together representatives of all the participants who have taken part in the previous stages of the project SEAM and on the creation of its materials.

The second transnational training course of SEAM gave the opportunity to adult learners from its seven partner organisations to meet together in order to evaluate their learning process on the local workshops developed on the last months on each partner country and test the materials created for them.

Supported by an experienced team of trainers and facilitators (same ones who developed the learning materials of the project and that will be available online at its end), adult learners had the chance of working and interacting among them thanks to a complete programme of activities mixing formal and non-formal methodologies (Such us brainstorming, drama techniques, group discussions, teambuilding activities, board games, body language, intercultural workshops, etc.). These exercises did not only help them to continue with their learning process on communication, second languages and interculturality, but also contributed to evaluate the project materials and improve them through an evaluation process used to get all the feedback of participants thanks to group reflections and paper forms.

Besides all these activities, participants could also discover the environment of the venue of the training, its nature, the culture of all the countries taking part on the event and also Ljubljana thanks to activities designed to interact not only among them, but also with the local population.

SEAM will run the second transnational training course of the project for its trainers and adult learners.

43 participants of SEAM will meet between the 30/03/2016 to the 05/04/2016 in Topolšica (Slovenia) to take part on the second training course of the project created to test the learning process of the adults who took part on the local workshops developed previously on the seven partner countries of this initiative.

During the whole week of work, the adult learners attending the event will put into practice all the knowledge that they got in the previous local workshops of SEAM on each partner country and interact with other learners in the same situation as them in a foreign country. The programme of activities which will be implemented during the course is part of the materials that were prepared by the trainers of SEAM in the previous meetings of the project. It contains exercises to test the intellectual outputs and materials created to provide adult learners (over 50 years old) intercultural and basic language skills to travel abroad and adapt themselves to foreign and multicultural atmospheres. The results of these activities and feedback of their participants will be analyzed to check if the design of the mentioned materials was appropriate and useful for the learners and how they should be improved or completed before its final edition and publication at the end of the project.

Implemented the third transnational meeting of SEAM in Brno, Czech Republic.

Fourteen representatives of the seven partner organisations of the project met between the 03/02/2016 to the 06/02/2016 in Brno (CZ) in order to check together all the current results of SEAM, work on the next project activities and discuss possible follow ups of this initiative.

During the first part of the meeting, the trainers and coordinators responsible of developing the learning materials of the project for adult education on second languages and mobility, had the opportunity of resuming and exploring the results of the local workshops that each partner organisation is carrying out on each country with adults (over 50 years old) for testing the materials on second languages, interculturality and mobility developed by the project team on its first stage.

Once the results of these activities were analyzed to use them as a base for the project materials, participants focused in one of the other main targets of the meeting: to organize the second transnational training of the project (C2) that will take place between the 30/03/2016 the 05/04/2016 in Slovenia. This event will join together all the trainers that coordinated the previous project activities and 35 adult learners (5 per partner country) that have participated on the local workshops of the project and will attend this activity in order to continue with the testing of the project intellectual outputs.

Once all the logistics, transports and programme of activities of this training was agreed, participants on the meeting dealt with other issues and especially with the idea of creating a follow up or second part on this project that could continue with the work that it is doing on SEAM and using its materials.
