Second meeting of the project “SEAM: Social Education of Adults through Mobility”

Representatives of the partner organisations of the project SEAM will meet from the 15/06/2015 to the 18/06/2015 in Riga (Latvia), in order to continue with the coordination of the project and prepare its next phases.

Partner organisations of SEAM and fourteen of their representatives and staff will meet together in Riga (Latvia) during the month of June in order to work on the coordination of the project and prepare the next steps and tasks to be done by the partnership. The meeting will have two main objectives. On the one side, to check and improve the materials for adult education that the partner organisations are currently developing and that will be used on next stages of the project to train adults over fifty years old on second languages communication and intercultural interaction. On the other side, to prepare future activities of the project and, especially, the training course that will take place in Sofia (Bulgaria) between the 16th and 22nd of July 2015, and that will be focused on those adult trainers that will implement and use the learning materials created during the project to teach adults on international mobility and promote their social inclusion by the acquisition of new cultural and/or language skills through formal and non formal methodologies. The meeting will be also useful to get to know the facilities, programmes and activities of the hosting partner of the event (Latvian Adult Education Association (www.laea.lv)) related to adult education and the methodologies used by its staff at local level.
