Final transnational meeting of SEAM in Amarante (Portugal).

Representatives of the seven partner organisations of the project will meet from the 29th of May to the 1st of June in Amarante (Portugal) in order to carry out the last coordination meeting of this long term project.

As last transnational event of the project, the main aim of this meeting is to join together all the coordinators and experts who have participated on the previous stages of SEAM in order to discuss and edit together the intellectual outputs that will be produced by the project. All these materials will be showed to any kind of social organisation or public administration working on the mobility or education of adults thanks to seven multiplier events that will take place in all the partner countries of the project. These events (that will be also designed during this meeting in Amarante) will allow to their participants not only to discover the whole work done during this 24-month project, but also to learn how to use the project results within their organisations and transfer to their teams the knowledge acquired by using both, formal and non-formal methodologies. Besides this, this last meeting will be also used by SEAM coordinators to get to know the best practices at local level on adult education of the Portuguese partner of the project.

“SEAM: Social Education of Adults through Mobility” is a two-year strategic partnership at international level coordinated by Asociación Gantalcalá (Spain) with the support of Innovative Community Centres Association (Bulgaria), Diecezni charita Brno (Czech Republic), Passaggi onlus (Italy), Latvian Adult Education Association (Latvia), Municipio de Amarante (Portugal) and Inštitut Antona Trstenjaka za gerontologijo in medgeneracijsko sožitje (Slovenia), and funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commision under its Key Action 2.
